My Summer Job Disaster! =(

Hey, it\'s me Emma. You\'ll never guess what happened to me last week. I got this summer job working at the 32 Flavors Ice Cream Shop in downtown Seattle. It\'s this totally cool place where all the hottest guys in our school hang out.

Anyway, I was serving up our specialty -- The Nutty Honey -- to this really cute guy named Chad Michael and the MOST embarrassing thing happened. All of a sudden a big, furry bug crawled out from underneath my hat, down my nose, and landed right on Chad Michael\'s top scoop of ice cream. And -- just like that -- all my hopes of Chad Michael becoming MY Nutty Honey melted away! I was horrified! I turned soooo red and ran into the bathroom with my scooper still in my hand!

I kept saying to myself, \"How could I get a bug in my hair?\" I mean... I showered. I rinsed. I repeated. I did everything right!

In case you\'re wondering, Chad Michael didn\'t ask me out. He didn\'t even wait for me to get out of the bathroom. And, he told my manager what happened. Everyone at work started calling me Bug Mug! It was AWFUL, so I quit.

When I got home I told Spencer(my older brother) the WHOLE story. He was weirdly QUIET and he had this STRANGE look on his face like he was guilty of something. Then, I noticed a bug that looked JUST like the bug that was in my hair crawling around on our kitchen counter. I saw another one on the couch. And... another one on Spencer\'s arm. Then... about 10 of them marched out the door towards Freddie\'s apartment! And that\'s when Spencer FINALLY \'fessed up. Turns out Spencer had secretly agreed to bug-sit Socko\'s critter collection (bugs, worms, and other disgusting things that wiggle) while he was on a cruise to Antarctica. Spencer didn\'t tell me because he knew I would FLIP out!

Apparently (as Spencer explained), all was going well UNTIL he tried to feed the bugs. Spencer opened the tank and was about to drop the food in when he heard the theme song to his favorite show, Judge Trudy. He ran over to the TV and completely forgot about the bugs. After the second commercial break Spencer realized what happened and then spent the rest of the day trying to get the bugs back in Socko\'s tank. Unfortunately, he couldn\'t. And that\'s why one of them ended up in my uniform and found its way to work with me! Later that night we had to call the exterminator and Spencer and I had to sleep in Freddie\'s room on his bunk bed. Spencer insisted on sleeping on the top. Freddie was mad because he had to sleep in his mom\'s room in a sleeping bag on the floor!
