MY NEW STORY CALLED MIDNIGHT!!( inspired by twilight)

Chapter 1(preveiw)

I lay ther on the grass thinking of how my whole life went, from normal little girl to bloodsucking teenager. As I lay there, I realize that I got used to staying away from the sun, hunting animals, and controling my feelings. The soft breeze carried the scent of rabbit to my nostrils, but I had already eaten.

Dr. Naomi thinks I'm a talented vampire and that my kind is extremly rare. You see, I'm a tracker, I can tell the future, and I can read minds. Dr. Naomi can only tell the future. She also says that as a human, if you are turned into a vampire, you lose any bit of sickness, but I still have my asthma. Also vampires aren't able to sleep, but I got that too.

A few days ago, without even looking, I saw the future of a boy who I was going to met soon. His name was Ryan, and he was the smartest fourteen year old in my school. Speaking of school, I better get back before it starts to rain.

I hoisted my self up, grinned, and started running. Us vampires also come with super fast running speeds and the ability to breathe under water.

I ran until I was behind the school. I just grabbed my backpack from the corner, and speed walked inside. Thats when I saw Ryan. I stopped mid-step as I stared at him. He was'nt like other guys who tried to wow the ladies by spiking out their hair and stuff like that, I know. He turned to looked at me and my mind did some quick thinking, and I decided to talk to him. As if he read my mind, he started walking torwards me. Then out of nowhere, my heart gave a little tight squeeze, but it was enough to tell me that my mind liked him already.

My stomach got uneasy and I forgot what I wanted to say.

"You're Cassidy, right?" he asked in a soft whisper voice.

"Yes..." I croaked out and looked up to see if he had noticed.

"Here, I have a hall pass, let's talk in the library." he said, waving a hall pass around like it was his ticket to Cuba.
Then all of a sudden, I started to have an asthma attack. I tried to grab for my inhaler, but my arms felt like string cheese. I collapsed to the floor and it got worst. Ryan got down to his hands ans knees and rolled me on my back.

"What should I do, Cassidy?" he asked in an urgent voice, shooing away anyone who tried to get close to me.

"My...inhaler..back...pocket...left...side..." I wheezed as my throat began to close up.

he found my inhaler and gave me two puffs, and the asthma attack died down. Ryan, noticing I was still weak, hoisted me into his arms and carried me all te way to the library. When people looked at me he told them that I had twisted my ankle and needed to lie down. To me it seemed as if the walk to the library would take a while, so I fell asleep in his warm arms. I then realized that I liked Ryan. A lot.

I knew we were both in mortal danger. Still, in that instant, I felt well. Whole. I could feel my heart racing in my chest, the blood pulsing hot and fast through my veins again. My lungs filled deep with the sweet scent that came off his skin. It was like there had never been any hole in my chest. I was perfect- not healed, but as if there had never been a wound in the first place.

I realized I would miss this- the green, the timelessness, the mystery of the woods.

I was still imagining pleasant scenarios that consisted of me running away with Edward to various exotic locales.

It was a relief to be outside; I hurried past the lanterns and the roses, now unwelcoming reminders.

Dazed and disoriented, I looked up from the bright red blood pulsing out of my arm- into the eyes of the six suddenly ravenous vampires.

FAVE OF ALL TIME: I looked into his liquid topaz eyes, and my heart gave a not-quite-so-gentle squeeze of its own.
