The Best Sleepover Party Ever!

Hi.My name is Dolcie Ellen.I live with my sisters Dollya & Destiny.Also my dad,mom & my brother David.We get along well...well usally.But one day I said to Dollya "Can you drive me to Kate's house?''Dollya said"No''.So then I got angry.Then I heard David say "I will".So I said "Ok''.So we walked out to the car to go to Kate's house.When we where in the car we had a fight.I said "Kate's house is that way".But David said "No.Her house is that way".So he stopped the car and said"Don't tell me what to do!'' So iIsaid"I'll just walk the rest of the way to Kate's house. "ok".said David. So David let me walk the rest of the way to Kate's house. When I got there Kate's mom said"Are you staying for the sleepover Dolcie?" said Kate's mom.'I don't know."

"Can you call my mom to ask her?" Yes, said Kate's Mom. When Kate's Mom got off the phone she told me I could go. So my mom brought my sleeping bag,my teddybear,my pillow ,and my book "Snakes". When my mom got to Kate's house,I told her all about what David did to me. She said David is grounded. I was kinda happy about that. But I was mostly happy about Kate's sleepover. It will be so much fun. We will stay up till 12:00! I have never had a sleepover. My mom was kinda glad too. She thought she will have some time to relax till I get back. Cas' remember at first it was just a playdate. So now it's a sleepover! So I am so happy!! Once my mom left kate's mom said"Let's go watch a movie. How about we watch "Cinderella.""Yeah!!" me and kate said. So kate's mom put in "Cinderella". Once it was done,Kate's mom said"Now we can put on makeup and pretend we are princesses." So me and Kate said" Yeah!!" So we went to Kate's room to get her makeup. She had lipstick,lipgloss, and blush.Then I said"I am Cinderella!'' "Okay then I am Bell."said Kate."So I guess I am Auroa.Right Kate???"asked kate's mom."Yeah.I guess so."Then we played princess.Then we had pizza."Do you want pepporoni on your pizza Dolcie??"called Kate's mom from the kitchen."Yeah.I thought me and Kate were making the pizza.That is what Kate said at school."I replied."I know.I am just setting up the plates and toppings for you."said kate's mom."I can not wait to make our mini pizzas.It will be so fun.

The Crab Mallet

Have you read the article in the newspaper about the crab mallet Annapolis that was found by a family on a beach in Australia? Well I did! And here?s how I think it got there. One day in Annapolis by the seafood market a mallet was found. The person who found it drove to Ocean City and through the mallet into the Atlantic Ocean. It traveled all the way to the Sahara Desert. A man who lived there decided to send it to his friend by boat and ask him if he knew what it was. But the man?s friend really liked the sea. So when the man?s friend got it he was looking at the sea. He accidently drooped the mallet into the sea. A hungry whale tried to eat it but he decided not to. The mallet washed up on a island called Madagascar. It was king tide so the mallet traveled all the way to Australia. There the crab mallet was a mystery just waiting to be solved.

The Lion

The lion, tawny to sandy brown in color, is the largest of the African carnivores. Females give birth to litters of up to six cubs (usually one to four). Weaning starts at 10 weeks, and is completed by six months. Lions mate about four times an hour over two to three days! There diet is medium and large prey, including impala, wildebeest, zebra and gemsbok. Will also take larger species such as buffalo, giraffe, hippo and young elephants. Lions will also eats birds, reptiles, fish, and even insects, also smaller mammals down to the size of mice. The lion prefers to live in open woodlands and thick bush, scrub, and tall grassy areas. The lion can and will tolerate a wide variety of habitats, absent only from rain forests and desert interiors. While lions drink water regularly when it is available, they can survive by obtaining their moisture requirements from the stomach contents of their prey or from melons. This allows them to survive in very arid climates. A family group of lions is called a ?pride.? The Lions are the second largest members of the cat family. Most of Africa?s lions are found in Eastern and Southern Africa. The lion's roar can be heard up to 5 miles away.
